not broken, but leaking. probably a pushrod tube. waiting out some weather in Colorado springs walmart parking lot if anyone want to come see the Corvair.

Pushrod tube seals aren’t hard to replace, but finding them in stock from places not “Clark’s” is hard. If it’s not a major leak, just fill up the oil whenever you stop.

Right? The only autozone in Phoenix that ever has anything is the big one on Indian School that also serves as a driveway/garage for people in west Phoenix.

That’s the plan, and driving a little slower. but driving through the mountains at 65-70 mph was delightful.
